Bill Jamerson Program in Niagara

Bill Jamerson Program on August 9th at Niagara Public Library Bill Jamerson will appear at the Niagara Public Library on Tuesday, August 9th at 6:30 p.m. and present a program entitled "Daylight in the Swamp." Get set for some hilarious songs and backwoods tales! From swampers to skidders and teamsters to loaders, Bill takes his audience back to a time when men worked long days in the woods through cold winters. In Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota the lure of "King Pine" attracted many of the early settlers. Bill tells the story of these colorful characters along with the struggles they faced, the simple pleasures they enjoyed and the disappointments they endured. "Bill has appeared once before at the Niagara Library doing a presentation on the CCC camps and was a great hit- awesome comments were heard about his previous show and once again we will host Bill to do this entertaining presentation," said Bruce Darne, Niagara Librarian. This event is free of charge and open to the public. For more information, call 715-251-3236 and/or visit Bill's website at www.billjamerson.com
